marriott imperial palms

Anyone stayed here? How far is the driving distance to disney parks? We are currently booked at lakeshore reserve… but I wonder if I should check into imperial palms because of location.

I have never stayed at Imperial Palms, but it is located at the Marriott World Center property. We have been to Lakeshore Reserve several times. Imperial Palms is fairly close to the parks and only a few minutes drive to Disney Property. Lakeshore Reserve however is the furthest Marriott timeshare from Disney. There are three Palms resorts at the World Center. You have full access to the pools at the World Center but there is a daily fee for access to the new slide tower.

What size unit do you have at Lakeshore Reserve? All of the units at Imperial Palms are 3BR. So it may be an upgrade in unit size to change to Imperial Palms. Also, what is the family dynamic of everyone staying in the unit? Any kids? All adults? If it is an all adult group, you may like Lakeshore Reserve better. If there are kids in the group, having access to the resort facilities at the World Center would be great. The slide tower is fantastic. Worth the daily fee IMO.

Lakeshore Reserve is quieter and the pool and public areas will not be nearly as busy as what you will find at the World Center. Imperial Palms does have its own pool that would not be very busy either. Lakeshore Reserve units are probably going to be nicer than those you will find at Imperial Palms.
