Has anyone stayed at this hotel in Celebration FL?

Thanks for the info.

We'll be staying there for the first time end of Oct. We have never been disappointed at any of Marriott hotels, and with the rate we got (half price of WDW deluxe) couldn't pass up. I am ap holder so don't have to pay to park and you technically don't even have to go off disney property to get there. We are really looking forward to staying there!!! :goodvibes

I hope you enjoy your stay.

I'm looking forward to staying there and checking out the shop and restaurants.

Town Tavern has awesome food, just avoid Market Street Cafe at all costs

Thanks mom2of2.

We were wondering whether to eat at DTD or at Celebration.

Maybe we'll give it a try!

Celebration has a bunch of great restaurants and 192 has every chain imaginable. DTD would be about a 15 min or so drive depending on traffic then you'll have to find a parking space. If you eat in town it's steps away from your hotel and after your meal you can grab a rocker in front of the lake

We had lunch at Imperium Cafe a couple of weeks ago and before eating we sat in the rockers in front of the lake and I saw something moving in the lake coming towards the front of the lake and yes it was a gator, eventually it just sat still on the other side of a railing where people were at.I'm assuming it did this cause people might be throwing food at it,which is probably not a good idea.I have no other explanation why it just sat in that spot looking at the people.I've never stayed at the hotel but did go inside to look at it and it looks nice, not a big hotel but looks to be cozy in a nice area walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

Yes, people feed the gators. Even though we have a sign posted right there telling people it's against the law (not to mention stupid!)

I would stay in town and eat, but that's just me. ;) I highly recommend Columbia's 1905 salad and the sangria!
