Marriott Cypress Harbour?

Has anyone stayed here? Thoughts?

I'm currently in a toss up between this and renting a house. The price difference is somewhat negligible, though the house will be a little more.

So far my pros for the Marriott are I like the proximity to the parks, the pool, and the pictures look nice. As a rewards member I trust the site.

Pros for the house are the private pool, grills etc but it's just me and my husband so I don't know that we'll need all that space.

Cypress Harbour is one of our favorite Disney-area resorts.

As you've noted, the location is very good - close by SeaWorld and access to I4 as well as being relatively close to a fairly large number of restaurants, shopping opportunities and not far from the Disney and Universal theme parks.

The resort has a laid-back atmosphere but has lots of activities including tennis, a couple of large pool areas, a nice resort store and deli as well as a take-out food area. Golf is nearby. The resort is gated with 24-hour security presence at the gate. And the setting is fair lush in terms of foliage. The on-site staff is helpful and pleasant.

I suspect that you'd be quite happy with Cypress Harbour. And, if the location is better and the price is lower, I think that this would be a pretty easy decision.

We enjoyed CH but it isn't my favorite timeshare we've stayed at since the building we stayed at was shady and dark and not in the greatest location at the resort. Having said that, it is a great place and a good location, and it was nice and quiet with a good layout.
