Marriott Anaheim Suites- Free Breakfast???

I keep reading conflicting reviews about whether or not this place has free breakfast. One review says "breakfast is overpriced and bland," followed by, "we loved the free breakfast - omelet station was great!" and then "my daughter ate free at the breakfast buffet"

So which is it?

Anyone been recently and can clarify if it is a certain "rewards members" that get free breakfast, or a special perk, or available to anyone?

I haven't stayed there, but I just went through part of the booking process and see that they have packages that include breakfast. That means to me that not all rooms get breakfast included.

But hopefully someone with immediate experience (rather than just doing what you've probably already done, LOL) will chime in.

You can book for a room that include breakfast at a higher price. We thought the breakfast was OK. It was kind of slow -- got in the way of getting to the parks early. Also -- there's no kitchenette like there is @ Residence Inns.

We prefer the Residence Inn in Garden Grove just down the street. We HATE the Residence Inn Maingate - not the right beds and horrible service! Another option is the Courtyard -- does not include breakfast, but has a fridge in the room, so you can get milk/juice & have cereal/muffins.
