marriage license question for fl residences

Ok my wedding is a few weeks away now. We both live in FL. Do we have to go to the court house or can we mail it in??? We have no more days we can take and we both work during the times they are open..

if we can can someone provide me with an address and what we need to send.

Unfortunatley, FL residents are not allowed to use the mail-in form, and they have to go through a three-day waiting period. Fortunately, the process is reportedly very quick and can be accomplished at any courthouse - maybe there's one near where you work?

Also, if you have proof of marriage counseling, you can save $32.50 on your license and there's no 3-day waiting period!

My husband and I went to the Osceola County (Kissimmee) courthouse for our marriage license. Took a short wait. We were able to print out and read the "marriage counseling" booklet online. (We won't hit eachother and since we are both really old, the care of kids was boring, lol.

Anyway, they never asked about the marriage counseling and we got the discount, maybe it showed up online somewhere.

You don't have to go to the courthouse. You can also go to a clerk of court - it's actually much better because it's not as busy. Exactly like twiu said, just go to the clerk of the court. DH and I did it on our lunch hour, it was really easy.

We went today!! I had off and my DF got home from work early it took 5 mins so easy.. We had a hard time finding parking in downtown tampa...
