Marooned with Mickey, May the force be with us!

Hello and Welcome, to my fabulous pre trippie. In just 6 sleeps, I'll be heading off to the World!
There's not too much background here, because after every trip we try to have another one being planned. Our last trip was September of 2007. (WAY too long ago!) And this Sunday we'll be flying off again! This trip we'll be there from May 11-19. We're staying at Port Orleans River Side, Beach Club, and All Star Movies. Also, regarding to the title 'Marooned with Mickey' this is going to be our first time going to Disney without our own transportation. Now, that's not that big of a deal, but we're traveling with an 11 month old this time! This is going to get interesting.. This is also one of our longer trips. We normally go 6-7 days, not 9.

The Characters:

Me- Jess, I've been going to the parks since I was less than a year old, and we try to go about twice a year ever since. I'm a huge Disney Fanatic, and love watching Disney Classics. I also am hopelessly obsessed with Star Wars.

DMom- Former Disney Cast Member. Like the rest of us, is only truly happy at the World. She goes whenever she can, and makes sure all the kids are obsessed as well. (They are)

DGodmother- My Aunt Liz goes with us on 95% of our trips. She's also very much a Disney Fanatic. She helps our trips runs smooth, and is overall fun to have with us.

DSis- Abbey, a redheaded 9year old girl with a temper like tink (and her hair colour). Is there really that much to say? She likes the princesses, and can be quite the drama queen. She always makes the trip interesting though, that's for sure.

Dbro- Mason, the 11 month old cutie. This is his second time to the world, and we're hoping he's not afraid of the characters!

Dstepdad- Brett, the science geek. (Sorry Brett, its true) Every time we take him to the world he likes it more and more. My family's pretty good at getting the non-goers to become..well...goers. (I swear it looks like this Mickey is saying E=mc2 or something.. )


Well, that's the cast! We're quite the crew, and a trip with us is always...interesting.

Okay Jessie. You've done this a million times before. It's not that hard to pack!
I've got a running list of what I need to bring, and my dad mailed me an envelope of LGMHPC (gotta love him). So now I've got a whole container of Mickey heads (Not all Lime green, but that's okay, I like variety) I've got to add on some stickers for mine, my moms, and my aunt liz's user names. I made some last year, they were adorable I thought, except one thing... I forgot safety pins! So we had to think of some creative ways to attach them to our bags, (Mine's a Lime Green Bagallini, of course) and they all ended up ripping. ​

We'll be staying at Port Orleans Riverside, Beach Club, and All star movies. I'm uber excited about Storm Along bay, because it seems so neat, and I've never been in it. I only walked by it once to get to Beaches and Creme from EPCOT. ​

The past few months I've been all artsy, sewing things, making jewelry, belts, etc. So decorating the doors and windows of our room is psyching me out. I'll be going to the craft store to be getting some new stickers and things for the LGMHPCs tommorow.

Jessieeeeeee! I love your sign. Mine worked out awesome-ly last year, I hope your's does the same.

I think you made up your sticker ripping last year with being all decked out as a polynesian diser at MNSSHP. You were very diser-y, if I do say so myself.

Anyhoo, although I'm majorly jealous I still hope you have a fabulous time (and I know you will). And I'll ask just one little more time for you to take lots of pictures for me! I have to have something to get my through to 4 more months til my trip.

I will take pictures, but I didn't get a new camera like I'd wanted for the trip, so they'll be ugly crappy shots.

And with the sign, I moved the polka dot ribbon UNDER the LGMHPC. (looks much better =p )


Yes, for all who don't know..

Last year for MNSSHP I was a "polynesian DISer" (my 10 minute before we leave to go to MNSSHP and i dont have a costume, costume)
I took lays (sp?) that we had gotten from the Poly and attached LGMHPC's all over them, and wore them in my hair, on my arms, and legs. I was quite the sight, but I guarantee I was the only Poly DISer there.
