Hi All! I just booked the CP dinner package for my parents and Marlee Matlin is the guest that night. Has anyone seen the show with Marlee Matlin? I am wondering if she does signing and voice narration- if she does the voice narration I am wondering if it was pretty clear as my dad is a bit hard of hearing. I think my dad may have a hard time understanding the spoken narration (ironically) due to his hearing loss.
(I hope nobody takes offense to this question- I am a big fan of Ms. Matlin)

most likely she will have her interpreter do the voice narration while she signs...

Marlee speaks in the very beginning and at the end, the "show itself" is spoken through her interpreter, Jack. She is actually my favorite presenter because I find her to be an inspiration and it is always interesting to me to watch people sign. She signs the entire show and Jack will speak the words.

I've seen her do the show twice. As other posters have said, she will likely speak a little at the beginning and end of the show, but the script itself is done by her interpreter. We really enjoyed the shows we saw with her.

Marlee Matlin uses American Sign Language for the narration. She does make some comments at the beginning and end in English. Jack Jason normally voices the narration. He is her interpreter. Disney's interpeter will do the music in American Sign Language. She is doing the narration. Her interpreter is there only to serve as the bridge from ASL to Englsih for the hearing people attending. Some of us would be just as happy if it wasn't translated at all, myself included.

Marlee does an amazing show. For her presentation they have a clear podium so that it's easier to see the ASL. She is so expressive and passionate- I consider her to be one of the best to see.---Kathy
