Terry and Sara are joining us for our first week after spending a week in Las Vegas.
We are spending the night before our flight at the Sofitel at Gatwick Airport. The kids are all going to school and I am working in the morning.
It was a great feeling when I left work. We meet up with Lisa and her family at just after 4.00 and follow each other from North London to Gatwick. We go via the Woolwich Ferry which is a bit different and arrive at the airport and do the BA night before check in very smoothly. We ate at Garfunkles but the food and service is awful, but we don't mind as we are all too excited. Myself and Lisa are a little nervous about the flight and we have to have a drink to calm our nerves in the hotel bar which is lovely.

Everything runs smoothly and we go to bed and wake up in time for our flight.
We forgot that Kirsty has the bottles of water in her bag still from our car journey to Gatwick and these are obviously converscated when going through security.
The flight is roughly on time and we get to Orlando about the same time as Terry and Sara which is great as they can share our 15 seater (there are 9 of us and after 8 seats it only come in at 15!) I had ordered magical express for them and their cases go straight from the airport to the resort.
We check in at Saratoga Springs and it is truly beautiful. Terry and Sara have a studio opposite our two bedroom villa so that we can all share the living space when we have drinks and a bite to eat.
When ever we go to Orlando we always go to Fridays on our first night and tonight is no exception. We all do some shopping down at the Crossroads. The men take the van back with the shopping while the rest of us wait for them in the Friday's bar. The cocktails here are some of the best we have during our vacation.

Kirsty has a sore throat so have to get some spray from Goodings
However the food is great here and we all have a great time and celebrate our first night at Disneyworld.
