This pre-trip report may be a bit confusing and apologise now

We will be staying at Saratoga Springs from 12th October 23rd October then to the Beach Club Villas until 26th October

The Cast

Mark - DH - Says he tolerates Disney just for me, but was his idea to become DVC members.

Susan - Me - obsessed by anthing to do with Disney and going out!

Kirsty - DD - Will be 13 while we are away on 15th October and has user name of Stitchgonecrazy, which sometime I use when she forgets to log out and I don't notice,obsessed about rock music

Lisa - My best friend
Maurice - Lisa's husband and works with Mark

Jack - will be 10 while we are away on 15th October (same day as Kirsty which is handy!!) - Lisa and Maurice's DS

Megan - Lisa and Maurice DD 7

Terry and Sara are also our friends and will be staying with us for our first week, which will be their second week as they fly out for a week in Las Vegas first.

We were originally meant to be going to Las Vegas in May 2006 with other friends for their 10th Wedding anniversary and 40th birthday (together with Terry and Sara) however DH feels that as we have the only child in the party we will be left out. We have been to Las Vegas before when Kirsty was 6 and she was happy to go to the kids club a couple of times. However at 12 she would be too old!!! DH persuades me to pull out and use the money we would have spent to stay at the Bellagio and buy a DVC add on. Sadly told friends we would not come but they were welcome to come and stay with us at DVC anytime in the next 49 years!!

Meanwhile the previous year in 2005 we went to Orlando with a party of 14 including Lisa and her family. We stayed at the Holiday Inn International (and two days at Hard Rock Hotel and one at SSR) None of us really liked it at this part of International Drive and Lisa thought that DLP was much nicer.
I thought that she should give WDW another try and persuaded her to come again with us in October 2006 to stay at SSR and BCV. Terry and Sara agreed to come too.

I so much want this to be a truly magical trip for us all and was really excited that we are officially a grand gathering as there are more than 8 of us. I have managed to book two grand gathering events: The safari celebration dinner for the kids birthdays and the magical fireworks voyage. Together with some great ADRs and the Raglan Road DIS meet I just can't wait to go!

Now all we have to do is count down the days!!
