Mark&Sue's August 2007 pre-trip Report

This is our first trip in August and probably our last! We have always managed to add onto a half term holiday but as the schools are now so strict had no choice but go in August as I cannot get two weeks off work at any other school holiday time. This is likely to be our last trip to WDW until Kirsty leaves school in 2010 when we are planning my friend's 40th birthday at WDW and taking another set of friends in 2011. Not sure I can manage two years without Disney but am very excited about going to our new holiday home in Spain which will hopefully get me through until 2010.

We are going on our first Disney Cruise in the middle of our holiday. This will be the three night cruise on the Wonder. Our only plans here are to get a Hard Rock Cafe glass at Nassau, a meal at Palo and hopefully bump into Joh who is on the same cruise as us. Yay

We have only booked two ADRs this year as we are hopeful that the three of us will be able to get a table easier than the usual large numbers we travel with.

Our first ADR is at Primetime where we will be meeting up with Claire and Michelle and am really looking forward to this. We made one other ADR to Jilkos as we have not been here and have to do at least one new restaurant each time we visit.

Will try to drag Mark out to Raglan Road on our first night on 17th August.

Hope to see other DISers out in the world same time as us.

We too are going this time of year because of Lauren's schooling. I am quite nervous of going at such a hot time of year - but hopefully we will have a great time. Might see you there

Great pre-trippy Sue - I am struggling to keep up with them, there are so many at the moment.

I certainly hope we do bump into each other - how hard can it be on a little cruise ship We may even see you around SSR as well, as we're there before the cruise

We haven't had ours yet either. I have emailed my DU agent (we booked through Dreams Unlimited) and asked when we should receive them and I am waiting for a reply. I will start to worry if I haven't had them by the end of the week
