I agree with most of this post, except for the number of hours from the causeway to North Sydney - it's barely an hour and a half! Did you mean Yarmouth to North Sydney? That would be easily 7-8 hours.

Doh! My bad, think I meant around CB in a day. To North Sydney, yes, the shorter time is more like it. Sorry!

Yeah! We've revisted ours plans, and now are planning this trip for late August, 2010!

PhotoBearSam--I was able to track down your establishment, and we'll defnitely be giving you a call.

The best part is that by switching to August, we'll be able to take the Argentia ferry back to North Sidney, so we'll have an extra day to spend exploring Newfoundland, and because we'll have an extra day due to the US national holiday Labor Day, we'll have an extra day for that as well. So it buys us almost 2.5 extra days!

I know we'll miss the iceburgs, but we're going to Alaska in 2009, and we'll see plenty of them there.

Any information on things we should see and do while we're in NS, PEI, NF, and NB, please speak up!
