I am about to go to bed as I am getting up around 4:30 am to drive to Virginia and the Amtrak auto train station. Shirts are packed, tags (including my DIS head) hanging on my camera bag!

Will be back on the board on the 20th. Won't be checking in while I am away. As a systems specialist I need a vacation from the PC too!!

I ask that anyone who needs one of my DISigns shortly after I return post in this new (and temporary) thread!

Will be thinking of you all and looking around WDW for any sign of the DISBOARDS!!

I'm back! Had a marvelous time. My Animal Kingdom DISign drew the most comments. Waiting for Soarin' a woman grabbed my DIS head badge and said "yes, we DIS too!" She was wearing a lime green sweater.

Saw very few shirts that people had made....I could count on one hand. What they are missing wearing something that everyone can wear!!

Got many new ideas....will get started DISigning right away!!

My shirts came out great. I did do the vinegar wash. After washing they looked as good as when they were first ironed. Think my dryer is a little too hot 'cause there was some very minor "stuff" (wrinkles or cracks?) that weren't there when they came from the washer. So minor that only I would notice really. I don't have a low heat setting...only shorter and longer time so I might just air dry next time and then press shirts.

Thanks for wishing me a good trip! I just adore Port Orleans Riverside and any negative comments on the resort thread don't ring true for my experience. If only I had gotten a bounce back offer.......
