Mario Party 8 Wii HELP!!!

Ok I got this game for christmas and does anybody know how to get to play with more than 1 player? We for some reason can't connect for 2 player. Help would be wonderful!

ya have to conect the Wii-mote then just hit 2, 3, 4 players when it asks
mine works fine

Just turn on the second Wii remote and then under some control options once you turn on the "party" section thing you'll be able to change them.

We have that Wii game.

ok how do you connect them? I thought you only had to press 1-2 at the same time and kapow, it turns on?

the top, right hand corner has the power button.
that's how ours turn on.
ours are picky though.
so ours might be a bit different.

that is for guest controllers only
press the home butin, at the bottem it says reconect controlers, use those instructions

i already found the trash one in the giant base of the second house and the yoshi planet of the random junk world

i had a problem at first 2, but then u just connect themn.
