I am going to Seaworld the first week of March and am thinking about doing the Marine Mammal Keeper Experience. Can anyone who has done this share a little bit about their experience and if you feel it was worth it?

I have never done this, but a friend of mine has. She seemed to really enjoy it. I believe she got to go around to all of the different animal exhibits to learn how each specific animals trainer/caretaker works and takes care of the animal daily. So I dont think your confined to just one animal, like spending the entire day with a Sealion. You get a variety of animals throughout the day. She said it was a very long day especially since its so early in the morning. Atleast it was very early when she did the experience. It may be different now. She seemed to really enjoy herself though. I would say go for it since its a once in a lifetime thing.

dd did this a couple of years ago, when was 15

enjoyed it, but following year when asked if she would like to do it again she said no, she didn't think it was worth the $$ and she could think of other things she'd enjoy more for less . . .

Thanks for the responses! Anyone else who has actually done this? I would love to hear more details before making my decision
