well, it's official
i am the worst dining reporter ever
haha, no but seriously, sorry for keeping you all hanging! July was pretty much a crazy month, i had a wedding in the Dominican Republic, and then by the time i got back and got into the swing of things, the month was like over... whooops!
anyway.. back on track! #letsgo
so Dan and I had been taking our own pictures, i was trying to take pics of his food, but it didn't always work out that way, i finally got him to give me all his pics on a flash drive.. so
Breakfast
you are gonna be so shocked when you hear where we ate breakfast!!!!
pop.
hahaha.
actually, i only have a picture of Dan's breakfast because i don't have any pictures of mine, i prob ate something super boringgggg, actually i might have had the same thing and figured i'd just take one pic.. hmmm
these are the mickey waffles, but they're really for "kids" ... hmm... why do small people get to enjoy the mickey shaped delicious breakfast, thats like age discrimination... NOT because we went and got some of deeees waffles anyways and they were SO GOOD. i think these are better than the standard "pop" waffles, they are smaller and i feel like the whole waffle is crispier, SO DANG GOOD!!! ..minus the bacon, dan eats my bacon.. double bacon for the gentleman.
we headed to Hollywood Studios, where we waited a good 45-1 hour to see Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope VonSchweets... Dan LOVED wreck it ralph, i mean i liked it too but he loves his video games, so in the queue line its all video game themed stuff that only video gamers would get

so i just tagged along.
it was SO HOT, and i normally tend to steer clear of soda, but i have a weakness for frozen cokes. like if i were to go to 711 to get a slurpee, no matter HOW MANY different flavors i could get, i will ALWAYS go for the coke.
frozen coke in all its refreshing glory

Coca-Cola, Blue Raspberry, Raspberry Lemonade, Lemonade, Wild Cherry, Strawberry (frozen drinks) $3.99
we had lunch at one of our favorite places, SCI FI! I'm not sure i trust you as a human being if you don't love the sci fi.. yes the food is.. average, but the atmosphere is enough of a reason to keep going back! WE LOVE IT! PS, the usual car that is always in front of the restaurant was gone.. any clue why???
i was really obsessed with instagram collages...

Milk Shakes - Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry or oreo cookie ice cream $4.99
my Oreo cookie ice cream shake!!! the only possible thing that might make this better would be if it was refilled, multiple times.. but then i might not leave.. that'd be cool.. i could just sit there ALL DAY watching the same clips.. over and over and eating never ending shakes

Fried Dill Pickles - served with spicy Ranch Dipping Sauce $8.49
The fried pickles has to be new!!! THEY WERE THE BOMB.COM, no really and i can totally appreciate different shaped pickles, i'm a girl who likes choices and alternating... so two thumbs up! The spicy ranch was really good too, just like it says.. spicy ranch, good thing Dan it's everything plain! More sauces for meeeee

Salmon BLT - served on crusty French Roll with Arugula, Vine-ripened Tomatoes, Bacon, red onion and d Chili-Chive Aioli, served with cucumber salad or fries $14.99, with chicken $13.99
up close and personal with my Salmon LT... no B for me. This was fantastic!!! The salmon was cooked perfectly, very moist! I wasn't sure i would like it but putting the salmon on a crunchy roll was amazing, actually now that i'm thinking about it.. i might make that for dinner tomorrow! PLEASE, if your a salmon lover like me... get this! you won't be disappointed! plus the fries were SOOO hot and good, i didn't stop eating them.. even after my stomach was clearly telling me to!

Build-Your-Own Angus Chuck Burger - Flame-broiled Beef Patty with Cheddar or Swiss, crispy Bacon, Lettuce, and Vine-ripened Tomatoes; choice of Cucumber Salad or French Fries $15.99. Make it own your own with toppings of Sauteed Mushrooms, sauted onions, and sauerkraut $16.99
Dan thinks this is the best burger on property... no matter what day we plan to go to Sci-Fi, how far into the trip it is.. he will abstain from eating any other burgers our whole trip, just so he can fully enjoy his Sci- Fi burger. I think that tells you exactly how good he thinks it is!
Dan was planning on getting dessert, he always used to get this chocolate cake with reeses pieces, and he was SOOO ready to get it.. but when they brought over the menu - it was gone!!!

<thats pretty much dan's reaction... needless to say he was not a happy camper after that.
OH AND i forgot to mention how happy i was with this dining experience because when your a party of 2 at Sci Fi they usually stick you in the back of someone else's care and say that your hitchhikers.. WELL, these "hitchhikers" picked up the front seat in our own car... ballllllinnnnnnn
For
Dinner we headed over to Epcot to try a new place!
I had only ever been to Nine Dragons once when i was little, so this was technically new for both of us.
We checked in and were seating in 2 seconds... not kidding..overall our entire dinner took less than 25 minutes

i am so serious, like they had SO many waiters and the food just came rushing out one after another.. not in a terribly bad way, i mean i wouldn't have minded to hang out a little more.. but hey, it's better than the food being painfully slow.
first i brushed up on my written Chinese

Walnut Shrimp Toast - the classic Chinese snack, Nine Dragons style crunchy, crispy, and delicious $7.98
We shared the shrimp toast, Dan really enjoyed it.. it had a hint of shrimpy flavor but i really felt like it was soo saturated in oil.. it just wasn't the best thing i've ever had.. it was...OK, the sweet sauce on the side helped mask the oily flavor but i don't think i would try this again.

Nine Dragons Fried Rice - stir-fried with shrimp, chicken, ham, eggs, vegetables and touch of chili spice $15.98
Dan had the fried rice, and this picture does not do it justice... this was HUGE BOWL.. easily shared by 2-3 people.. seriously. He thought it was really yummy, loved the egg mixed in, but when he was done it still didn't even look like he put a dent it in, lol.

Peppery Shrimp with Lightly Spiced Spinach Noodles $21.98
I had the peppered shrimp! The shrimp was delicious, i love spicy seafood and this hit the spot, the noodles on the other hand could have used more sauce... it was kind of bland and mixed with some under cooked vegetables didn't really impress me.. sorry Nine Dragons.
I would go back to Nine Dragons though to try some other dishes!
and.. the night would certainly not be complete without
ice cream
we scooted out of Epcot before Illuminations.. we have seen that so many times lol.. we just wanted to dive into some Ghiradelli's!
Dan had the one on the right
The Gold Rush - Peanut Butter Hot Fudge Sundae - Vanilla ice cream with freshly homemade hot fudge and melted peanut butter throughout. Topped with whipped cream, chopped almonds, a cherry and Ghirardelli Squares milk chocolate $9.45
He's a peanut butter fanatic, this was made for him!
Mine is on the left
Treasure Island - Two scoops of Vanilla ice cream paired with our warm double chocolate brownie, smothered with freshly homemade hot fudge and topped with whipped cream, chopped almonds and a cherry $9.45
except i swapped the vanilla ice cream for Espresso Chip.. i know that i've mentioned i'm a coffee junkie.. and putting coffee and ice cream together is my Nirvana...
this was too much... but i ate it all... sorry not sorry LOL
the brownie
the hot fudge
the whip cream
yea i slept with a ginormous food baby that night, but it was sooo worth it
until next time!!!!!!!
