do I need a marrige license for our upcoming cruise??? I thought I heard you did but my husband does not remember bringing one last time

DW has never been asked for ours.

I have never brought our marriage license on any cruise -- not even on our honeymoon cruise.

You can squeak by with a Driver's license, but a Passport is best.
I have no idea why you would need a marriage license. I've never used my marriage license for anything. Never needed it for life insurance, health insurance, taxes, retirement accountys (401k or IRA).
Only thing I can imagine needing it for was if I was getting a divorce!!!

Just a guess - I think the marriage license is needed for when your name doesn't match your official ID and you have to prove that you are the different name.

i was on the sept 4th...had a different name than my married name so i brought my license..they didnt even look at it
