Mardi Gras Questions

Hi I am planning on going to Universal for Mardi Gras tomorrow and just had a couple of questions.

I was wondering what the times are for the concerts and parade, and how early I should get to the concert area if I want a good seat. How long do these concerts normally last?

Parade starts at 8 when the park shuts down. If you want a good spot for the parade, better start lining up a couple hours early because it will get packed. I remember being over there close to 6 and people were already sitting down waiting for it to start. By 7, the walkways were crowded.

The concerts start usually around 8:30, right after the parade is over. Though I can't really recommend what time to get there to get a good spot, I can tell you that a lot of people prefer to stand there and skip the parade.
