What happens to the concert and/or parade for mardi gras in the event of rain/thunderstorms? Will they be delayed? Cancelled? Continue on? Thanks.

I can only guess that they would handle it like Disney does. As long as there is no threat of lightning, the show goes on. I imagine they may have to alter some things due to wet conditions (Disney does this with Fantasmic).

The stilt walkers are off the stilts if wet, just walk around in costume before and during parade. Blowing rain stops the concerts, water and electricity don't mix. Light rain, probably OK. I've seen rain cancel and not cancel shows.

In general, they will make every effort to present both the parade and concert unless the conditions are too dangerous to proceed. They'll make necessary changes for the safety of the performers, such as having the stilt walkers off their stilts, but they'll do their best to present both the parade and the concert.

Fortunately, the typical late winter/spring weather patterns in Central Florida are such that the Mardi Gras activities are rarely impacted by rain/electrical storms.
