We are looking for a good Louisiana-themed meal for Mardi Gras. We are staying a week at PO-FQ and are taking part in the Mardi Gras activities. We are not going to try the food court due to past experiences and we figured that House of Blues or Boatwrights would be possibilities. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Boatwrights is in your back yard, and IMO quite good (though I am not an authority on bayou/cajun). There aren't many WDW restaurants that are worth a special trip, and as far as I know, HOB is not one of them.

I agree for the same reasons. We really enjoyed our Boatwrights meal while HOB was quantity over quality in our opinion.

Thanks for the suggestions. We have an ADR at Boatwright's. We haves ayed many times at PO and have never eaten there. I think that we will try it out.
