March or October?

We have ressies for October but now my DH says he can't wait until then and wants me to research going in early March or anytime in April (avoiding Easter week in March). Can anyone tell me what the crowds are like at that time? I've been in May and October but not early Spring. It says March is peak season - does that mean peak crowds?

March is crowded because of Spring Break.

I've been at multiple times throughout March and April as well as October. The spring crowds on our trips I'd say are always 10 times busier than the fall crowds. However, if it means going soon, I'd be jumping at it!!!

That's a tough one - going sooner, or less crowds. I've been at both times and I'd have to go with less crowds. October is warm enough to swim and you can go to MNSSHP. Last trip we went to in March (2003) it was so crowded at MK we couldn't seem to get anything done. But anytime you go, crowds or not, at least you'll be at Disney! Have fun and good luck with your making your decision.

Are you locked into March or April? Less crowds is the way to go - how about early May. BTW...our next trip is planned for October.

Low crowds are key for us. We went in May and loved it and that's why we also love October.

We have another trip to Tampa, Fl for a wedding in June, so we thought we should either stick with October or go in early March or early April to spread out the trips. We have a 2 and 4 year old, so school is not an issue. I have no idea when school spring breaks are so I had hoped that we could find a less crowded time in the Spring.

The problem is that once you start planning the trip, the excitement builds and the trip can't come soon enough. My husband isn't helping by suggesting we go earlier!
