Hi Andrew Carolyn and girls.....
I enjoyed reading your trip report!!!! Sorry to hear about your luggage...although I was glad to read that it wasn't your bag that shut the port down:lmao: :lmao:

Great TR! I really enjoyed your blog.

Since you lost your driver's license at CC, did you have any problems with needing photo ID returning to the ship, Budget, or at the airport?

No, I did not have a problem, I had a passport. I had Caro sign for the car at Budget, since she had a license. They did not even ask for anything at CC. If I would have known I did not need a picture ID for CC, I would have left it. They did not even scan us on or off the ship.

My kids enjoyed the clubs, although the people working there weren't very friendly. I know a couple of other people who have recognized this. I was kind of surprised since everyone else on the ship was so fabulous. My husband thinks it might have something to do with security and their policies, protocal, etc. there. I'm thinking they can be safe and secure with our kids and STILL at least attempt to be nice! Our kids that went are 3 and 5. I've noticed that around the 8-10 age the clubs don't seem to be as effective or something they like as much as the little ones. With teens in our bunch, by the time they hit that age the STACK is the best place to be. I barely saw them all week!

I'm sorry not to have been able to get to know as many of you as I would've liked. We barely had time to spend with our own family altogether all at the same time in one place! LOL!

I had heard about the code red at the port because I was half asleep still trying to pack my stuff the AM we left. I left my toiletries bag hanging on the back of the bathroom door. When I located lost and found, it seems as though all things might not have been taken off the ship due to the code red. United lost my luggage coming on the ship, and now I left one of my most important items leaving the ship! (toiletries with of course makeup remover, contacts and solution, skin creams....you know girls, the important stuff! LOL) Oh well! With 6 people and 10 bags, plus carryons, something is bound to happen!

Hope everyone is settling back into the real world nicely. My DH does all of the unpacking and laundry! It's been nice...it's kind of our thing...I do all of the planning, preparations and packing and he "undoes" it all when we get home. I think it's a good deal! :laundy:

No it was not noisy. Even with the crazy people from Maryland in the next cabin (sorry Johnna and Mark, I couldn't resist). :lmao:
It was a great loacation, not too far from the Forward lifts/stairs, and real close to the Midships (which are too busy most of the time).

Where in Washington State? We have to have a Washington Meet sometime.

I am on the East side, but not too far from Seattle. :) Let me know if you all hold a meet, I am there! I cruised with other Washingtonians last May, so I know there are several of us Dis-ers from the area.

Hey all you Maniacs, especially the ones at the first brunch,
Does anyone have a great shot of the group at brunch. And one of Ken outside with HairyMan and Childbirth Lady?

Sorry Andrew, it's funny because I was at the brunch, but our reservation was last minute on a waiting list and we didn't know you were there too! I think we met the group afterward though. A picture would be fun to see! :thumbsup2

Carolyn, I wanted to ask you and never had the chance, your formal dress was absolutely gorgeous, and I was wondering where you got it? The color, fabric and design was so pretty! I only seem to have black formal stuff, and it's getting old! The deep color of yours was really stunning and looked fabulous on you! :)

Mamgu (Shirley) has one. I will get a copy soon and post.

Thanks Rachel! I really love it too! Now I just have to find another time to wear it! I got it at a store called Group USA http://www.groupusa.com/ Being plus size, I was really afarid I was going to have a problem finding something. This store really had quite a few plus size ones that I liked. Alana I believe, is actually the one that found this one. We had gone out the day before looking, found one I liked and put it on hold to think about it. We went vback the next day to get it and looked 'just one more time' and she spotted it! I put it on and we all loved it! I ended up breaking and spraining my foot at work the next day, so I'm glad we found it then! I'm not a dress up person, so it was really fun to get all dressed up!

Andrew - we have a few good ones with Ken and with Marco out there too. :lmao: :lmao: Just thinking of that cracks me up. :rotfl2:

I've been so far behind on post-vacation responsibilities, including posting our pictures and adding to the trip report. We had a huge St. Patrick's Day party (60+people) and so I was so focused on that last week (and recovery yesterday) that the pix haven't made their way on line yet.

I'm getting there...:goodvibes

The wonderful group (how did we manage to stop laughing long enough to take this picture???)

I am very glad nobody is near my desk to hear me laugh.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your trip!! I noticed you were in 6548 - we were in 6552 this past January and reserved 6548 for the 2008 Panama Repo cruise. Great location!

Johnna - I LOVE the pics!!! I don't have one with Ken tying his shoes, but I do have a few from that morning....

Too funny - for a moment, I thought you were talking about me and Ken!My first thought when I read "the crazy people from MD" was "we were next door to Andrew????"
