March cruising

How is cruising in March? Is the water to cold to get in at Castaway Cay? How about the threat of storms? Appreciate the help.

Little threat of storms then, I read the water can be cool in the Bahamas, swim able but cool.

Varies. We did March 2 years in a row. Last year water was very cool. This year water was cool but only when we first got in. It was comfortable after some time. And I am from s Florida so I like warmer water.

Depends on how "harsh" the winter is. I'm also from S Florida and like warmer water.

Same experience we had. Last year the water was far to cold to go into. I tried but it felt like being in ice water. This year it was coolish but not too bad after a few minutes. I snorkeled for about 30 minutes several times.

We went at the end of March this year and the water at Castaway Cay was great.
