Any tips on avoiding the masses in March ?

We are considering going first or second week in March 2005,
but have concerns about "March madness".

Thanks

We went the first week of March this year and the crowds were very light until the final Friday afternoon--even then it was very manageable. The weather was great (except for the first day--Feb 28 it was COLD!)

Have a great time!

I only went to the MK one day in March, March 15, and it was absolutely horrendous. Seems to avoid the crowds, early March is the way to go.

We went the first week of March last year, and the crowds weren't bad at all. We were surprised actually. We'll be going back the last few days of Feb., and first week of March next year, hopefully it is uncrowded just like 2003. :) I think it's not bad because most spring breaks don't begin until atleast the 2nd week of March.

My university changed their schedule a bit and we had the first two weeks of March off for spring break. We were at OKW from March 4th to the 9th. Crowds were extremely light but since we were staying over the weekend, we avoided the Magic Kingdom on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. This paid off.

The only time we needed to use FastPass was for Peter Pans flight. It had a (stated) wait time of over two hours. We walked on every other attraction or waited for 10 minutes or less. The weather was perfect, a far cry from the snow we were having at home.
