Does anyone know how the character appearances are? Are there long lines? Is there a better time to do those (morning vs. afternoon, etc.)?

The lines can be quite long at times. We typically do them before dinner, just because that's what works for us. The princesses and Mickey and Minnie tend to be the longest lines we've seen.

We found last year (President's Day week, sold out cruise) that the character meets in the atrium could be a bit of a wait (especially before dinner, long lines but they move along pretty well), but when we caught characters at off times & places (like Pluto on the pool deck) we had them all to ourselves! Every day just look at the navigator and see where your favorites are and be there a few minutes early. They also list character appearances on the information board in the atrium. Or dial 7-PALS from the phone in your room.

Our character interactions far surpassed any we've had at the parks! The princess meet and greet in the atrium had really long lines, but my girls saw the lines and didn't want to wait. We saw a few of the princesses at other times on the ship.

One of the best times with Pluto, Donald and Chip & Dale was the Character Dance Party in the atrium. Maybe 20-30 kids and everyone got to dance with their favorite character!

There are also great character interactions in the clubs. My girls did the hula with Stitch, learned to Do-Si-Do from Snow White, and had a PJ Party with Pluto. Those three experiences were worth the cost of the cruise

Me too! It'll be fun! Also, MicheleQ, thanks for the advice on character meets. You created a great visual and I'm glad that we don't have to wait in lines to see them.

Hi all... The currently posted FE list is the final list. Note there are a few people I still need cabin numbers. We plan to bring gifts for those rooms just in case.

I'll post summary numbers tomorrow...work has been nuts lately, apologies for the late response. For those who have sent me PM's I'll have Maddie reach out to you. She's super excited to have the chance to talk with other cruisers.

I haven't updated our info for the FE b/c of firewalls from my work computer. But, here is our info - We are from Fishers, IN (suburb of Indianapolis). Our room #1047. My daughter's name is Maisie (5 yr old) and my little guy is Graeme (1 yr old). My name is Amanda and my hubster is Scott.

I am so super excited about our cruise and can't wait to participate in our first FE! We didn't know about this amazing experience with our first two Disney cruises. I think my daughter will really enjoy passing our presents.
