March 2nd, 2014 ~ Disney Dream Bahamas Cruise Meet Thread ~

Hi Y'all,
I think I've finally figured out how to do this.
I am taking my whole family on the Dream for the March 2 cruise.
Also, leaving this crazy town for Mardi-Gras.
I would like to have my two sons and their little families be part of the fish extender group.
This is our first Disney Cruise, but we are not first time cruisers.
I want my grandbabies to just have the time of their lives!
The stateroom numbers they will be staying in are #5166 (parents and 2 kids, boy and girl).
And room #6508 (parents and 1 daughter).
I hope to have fun doing this with them, and sharing some of our Mardi Gras loot with y'all.

Our family of 4 will be on the march 2 dream, super excited and a bit overwhelmed with all of the planning! We have 2 girls 5&3, who generally travel well. My husband and I never entertained the thought of a cruise until we saw ALL that Disney offers families! I am not sure i will be able to get it together to join the FE, but think I will attempt DIY door magnets, the kids will love them We are all in over our heads in snow, and looking forward to a great trip!

To any veteran cruisers: for second seating( we booked late), do you go to a show in the theater, then head to dinner? We will try the dine and play for the girls. They love going to our gym's child watch, so we are hoping with disney themes, the will eagerly go on their own adventures!

Also, has anyone one used disney gift cards to fill their on board account and pay gratuities?

We did close the FE group last week to allow 3 weeks for everyone to buy their items and or make their gifts.

family situation caused us to change our cruise from later in 2014 to this on on March 2nd! we just did this yesterday. WE ARE SO EXCTED! but now I'm worried that its too late to join the FE group.
its been tough enough for my boys this year ... and it would mean ALOT to my boys if you let us join. it looks like I'm a week late... CAN ANYONE HELP ME???

Hello ! We're 1st time cruisers and I would very much like it to be a very special and memorable vacation for my family. My husband and I have 2 kids, a 16 yr old son and an 8 yr old daughter. My daughter and I are celebrating our birthdays. What is Fish Extender Exchange? So Excited! Can't wait!

We did not go on this cruise but would like to go on the same one next year, and we will have our 21 year old college DD with us (hopefully). Did anyone have someone in their group college aged, and if so did they like the College Club/Group? Was there a good size group?
