Good Saturday morning everyone!

I am hoping that all of our cruise friends out East are safe from all the flooding. They were just showing New Jersey on the National News and it looks like a mess. Praying everyone is safe and that your homes are not in the flood area.

Wish you were coming too Dave. I will tell the girls good luck from you guys. Thanks.

And I hope the flooding isn't getting you out there. Or Sue, or Monika, or any body out on the East coast area.

Good Morning DIS Friends!

All is well here in NJ for the kids and I. No flooding issues where we live.

Thanks for thinking of us.

Chris - Have fun on vacation!!! Good luck to the girls. I can't wait to see the pictures.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Only 3 days until Garyday. Garyday here will be the warmest day of the week with an estimated high of 75. :beach: :cool1: The kids have off that day for teacher in service so we are all very excited!!!! Although I still have to work. :sad2:

Have a great day and enjoy the rest of your week!!!

Happy Hump Day!!!!

Well, today is my last day of work before leaving for the WDW. As of 3:30 today I am out of there.

Our girls are already on their bus heading down. They had to be at school by 5:30 this morning. They should be arriving at Cocoa Beach tomorrow before noon. And we will be getting into Orlando around 11:30ish.

Last night they had a pre-Orlando concert over at the school. Very informal but it was fun to watch. Just don't know how they are gonna do it all in 25 minutes on the stage at DTD. Should be interesting.

Wish you all could be joining us on our trip. :flower3:

Good morning everyone!

Chris I'm so excited for you and the girls. I know they will have a great time and how wonderful that you can be there to see it all!

Hello everyone...I am sorry for not posting a while. Hope everyone is well.

We had a great time on our cruise. Good weather but at times very windy. Due to 2 medical emergencies and strong winds, we did not get to stop at Castaway Cay. The first medical emergency was as we were leaving St. Thomas. The ship ended up going back to a waiting ambulance. The 2nd emergency was our sea day...we ended up docking at Grand Turk...we were not allowed off the ship. We were docked there for a couple of hours. Apparently the medical team from the ship had to escourt the patient to the airport to a plane waiting for them. The winds got worse during this time. By morning...it was announced that we would not be going to Castaway Cay. Free drinks, extra shows were added that day and a New Years Eve type celebration in the atrium. I will tell you this...we've read on the Disboards about the Magic and how they are not as good as before...Michael and I say....the Magic still has the magic. No complaints what so ever!!!!

We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kadani (with a savannah view) before the cruise and Jambo (with a savannah view) after the cruise....WOW. We just loved it. Sitting on the balcony having a cup of coffee and just watching the animals was AWESOME!!!!! I love it!!!!

We did the Keys to the Kingdom Tour....it last over 5 hours. They give you an ear piece so you can hear your guide talk as we tour the Magic Kingdom. He took us behind the scenes. We got to watch as the parade ended behind the big door by the firehouse. All the performers and characters waved at us...it was great. BUT, I had to turn away because I didn't want my illusion busted when the characters took their heads off. I just couldn't look. We also got to go through the utilicores (I think that's what they called it...). Our guide was very knowledgeable(sp) and funny too. With the tour, we were provided a lunch and given a Key to the Kingdom pin. It's a must do.

We've been home since March 7th...and I am still moping around that we are home. We had the best cruise/vacation. Wonderful time...I just wish time would slow down a bit.

Have a good evening.:flower3:

Morning all. we are still here, Michael is still working alot of 10 hour days, yea money, sad for him...he is always very tired he is also working 6 days a week.

Monica, sorry you did not get the trip orginally planned, but glad you still enjoyed it.

Hope every one is well, their is a virus going around here, and I am trying not to catch it.

Well need to get ready for swimming this morning, then breakfast with a friend, then weigh in at weight watchers, oh forgot to tell you I joined last weekend. then a little grocery shopping then off to a visit with MoM, It seems I just never have enough time in a day!:scared1:
