March 2025 Refurbishments

Disneyland

The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln: 4/16/2024 through 5/15/2025. Reopens on May 16 2025 for Disneyland’s 70th.

Meet Tinker Bell in Pixie Hollow: 9/15/24 through March 2 2025. It seems Disneyland keeps extending the refurb.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe: 1/7/25 to ???.

it's a Small World Holiday closes on Tuesday 1/21. 1/21/25 to ???
Small World is expected to open during Spring 2025. I expect the refurb to last 8 to 12 weeks minimum.

Disneyland Monorail closes on 1/6/25 for refurbishment. 1/16/25 to 3/6/25. Reopens 3/7/25.

Disneyland Railroad closes on 1/13/25 for refurbishment. 1/13/25 to 3/6/25. Reopens 3/7/25.



California Adventure

Grizzly River Run: 1/6/25 to 3/13/25. Reopens March 14.

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail: 2/17/25 to ???.

Guardians of the Galaxy: 3/10/25 to ???.


The Pools at the Pixar Place Hotel have been closed since mid-January and are still closed through 3/2/25 (and likely beyond).

Storytellers Cafe will be closed beginning on March 3, 2025 through at least March 28, 2025. This is for a refurb and I expect it will be a few weeks.

Yes I see that but I am waiting a day or so. DL did that with Pixie Hollow and it came back.

Well hopefully that means guardians can open earlier than currently expected like originally on the calendar! Can’t have both down at once when they expect spring break crowds!

Indy closes 1-2 times per year, often just for about 4 days. This could be longer, but it's not uncommon for it to briefly go down.

One thing to keep in mind if you're used to WDW is that DL has SO MANY rides, you will barely notice a couple of things being closed. There are far more rides in DL than any one park at WDW. Yes, it is disappointing, but it's not nearly as impactful as when things close at WDW.

Disney I think is trying to get the park ready for the 70th...rumor us Tiki Room will also be going down at some point for some new paint and maintenance

I know it sucks for those going in these months...but these have to be done or the rides just get in bad shape. GOTG hasn't been down for a while considering how popular it is
