March 2018 Park Hours

Hi Friends

Late next month, I'm going to be visiting WDW for a conference. Its about 45 days out at this point.... I'm hoping to enjoy the parks in the evenings but it looks like the parks will be closing a 9 every night including MK. This seems pretty early to me - there is only one Extra Magic Hours scheduled for an evening while I'm there. I'm just wondering if there is still a chance (!) that hours will be extended for the period that I'm there. I feel like most of the times I've visited WDW - MK would at least be open until 11 or 12. Late March typically isn't a slow time - so not sure why the park hours seem so limited.

Wondering if my fellow DISers had any clues? Perhaps they are thinking they will extend the After Hours event (?) IDK but wondering for some insight. Thanks!

They've been updating/extending hours later and later. Some Feb. hours were just extended, barely a week in advance. So all you can really do is keep checking back to see if the hours for your dates change, right up to the time you leave.

Not sure of your exact dates by Mar 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 all have closing times of midnight at MK! With EMH on that Wed going until 2am!!!

I guess I’m going to be only one at the gate trying to get in at 2am btw I’m up to 36%
I now see it must be a glitch on my MDE because I checked MK hours the week of the 11th and every day has open 24 hours. I do see the correct times on disneyworld.com

Unlike at Epcot, MK's fireworks don't (necessarily) "close the park."

The MK fireworks time CAN change if MK is open later, but they do not automatically "track" the closing time.
