March 16, 2014 - 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise on Disney Wonder

Hi everyone. Just wanted to report that our family has moved from this cruise to a seven day in August that worked better with our schedules. Have a great cruise! I will be thinking of you sailing in March!

Good luck with your new sail! I am feeling like our cruise is not going to be jam packed. Are Disney cruises ever not full?

Discorsner--enjoy your 7 day!!! I'm fairly certain this cruise will sail full. We did this same cruise last spring break and it appeared there was a lot of rooms left up until we left but it was full when we got to the port. We can always hope for an empty sailing, but I bet that won't happen. :) I'd love to upgrade at the port!!!

Happy Holidays, we are getting close to the PIF dates and booking (at least for us lowly silver)... is anyone still on this cruise? What excursions you thinking about... any reservations you hoping to get?

I am interested in doing the discover scuba.... maybe a jetski on CC with my daughter.

Unfortunately, we are canceling thus cruise. Hope you all have a magical time!!! I will also asked to be removed from the FE.

We plan on catching a cab to Chankanaab for the day. We did that last time we were in Cozumel and had a great time. We did the dolphins then and didn't really have a lot of time left to enjoy the park.

This is my family's first Disney cruise! My husband, daughters, and mother and father in law are so excited. I have seen a few people mention the excursions. My 9 year old really wants to swim with the dolphins in Cozumel. Anyone ever done that? Pros? Cons? My husband and father in law want to go fishing while at CC. Would love any input/advice for us newbies! Thanks! Can't wait to see you all in 80 DAYS!!!

Hey there, We're looking forward to our first Disney cruise. My DD is always reading the threads with helpful cruise tips, and making a list of her favorites. Today she told me we should pack our swimsuits in our carry on luggage so we can swim while we wait for our luggage to arrive. That's a great tip, although our luggage will be arriving with us, assuming the airline doesn't lose it. So, still a great tip since swim wear doesn't take up much space.

We've purchased our airline tickets, reserved before and after hotels, and reserved a car. We'll be spending a few days in Key Largo after we return.

Welcome Sammi2. Your daughter is smart, that is an awesome tip!!

If you are interested there is also a Fish Exchange group connected to this cruise. It is basically a small gift exchange between participants. All the details are found on the FE thread (also linked to this cruise meet) here:

If anyone is interested, I have started a FaceBook group page for this cruise. It is not public and is only open to members so if you would like to join please message me on FB (Stephanie Moeckel Cole) and I will invite you. Once you are a member, you can then invite whomever you want to the group. If you are already on FB, then it is an easier and more dynamic media to share "cruise excitement" with others than the dear DISboards.

Hey there! We actually swam with the dolphins in chankanaab . I booked it all on my own over the computer. Everything worked out great . We plan on going there again but not doing the dolphins this time.

I was thinking about doing the sea lions with my daughter at Chankanaab, the park looks beautiful and it is well reviewed on Trip Adviser...

We swam with sea lions in Nassau. They are very cool. The park is wonderful. We did the dolphins and it took up so much time that we didn't get to explore the park as much. I would suggest booking online or at least printing the coupons to bring

Gott nytt år (Happy New Year)

Let the countdown begin. In 75 days we are going on a cruise :beach:

Hi everyone!! Happy new year! All paid up and the countdown has begun!!! We can not wait! We booked the dolphin encounter through dolphin discovery today and got a good deal. We are trying to save a little money by cabbing over instead of the "formal" excursion from the trip. If anyone else is doing the same let me know!

I would like to book the post cruise airboat ride excursion in miami, but I understand you only book post cruise excursions while you are on the cruise, not before. Anyone one if that's true? I will keep researching!

I thought we were able to hose our boarding time, but I don't see where you do that? Can anyone advise? Thank you! <<< I figured it out! I had to add my credit card and it opened up boarding time options. The earliest board was already full! Okay with me...forces me to slow down a bit!

Can not wait to see everyone!

Got it... just discovered my "other" inbox. Sorry for the delay, but did not know I had an "other" inbox. I have sent you a message back, Although it says I can, it does not seem to want to let me add you into the group. If you do not get an invite message, please just friend me on FB ... I can add you in then and then if you want you can keep me or unfriend me (no hard feelings I promise)

Or participating in a FaceBook group? I have started a secret (only members can see posts/page) group page (Wonder Caribbean March Break) ... currently a very small group as it only has me and my daughter LOL ... but PM me with your FB name or look for me on FB (Stephanie Moeckel Cole) and I can add you in.

Hi! I sent you a note on facebook so please check your other messages folder and add me. I can't PM you because I don't have enough postings yet!

This is our first cruise and we're going with our kids (DD, 4yo and DS, 1yo). We're celebrating our anniversary that month and are looking forward to it. My daughter is REALLY into princesses so she is going to love it!

Do you guys have suggestions for Cozumel given our kids' ages? I'd love to do the ruins or something like that if I can carry my son in a carrier?
