Marceline to the Magic Kingdom Tour

Can anyone tell me a little more about this tour? What is included in it and how long does it last?

A few years ago, we went on the Keys to the Kindgom tour and enjoyed it very much, but since I see the description of this tour says "This insider’s look at the history of Magic Kingdom park is perfect for the avid Disney fan and offers a lighter alternative to the more in-depth Keys to the Kingdomtour." I'm a little worried that it will just be a lesser version of all the same stuff in that tour.

Any insight?

I haven't done Keys to the Kingdom, but here's a spoilers list of what happened on my MthMK tour.

SPOILERS BELOW.









Gather at City Hall
Walk down Main Street hearing about Walt's Boyhood. Pointed out names of folks on the windows.
Walked up to the castle, then down to Haunted Mansion.
Tons of detail about Haunted Mansion. Tons. *squee* Little things about the line area, the new interactive queue, everything.
Ride the Haunted Mansion before park open, with description from the tour guide.
Bathroom break in the Rapunzel area - guide points out the hidden Pascal's for those not using the facilities.
History of Small World. Guests ride IASM.
Walk from Small World to Tomorrowland, hearing about the World's Fair.
Group rides "Carousel of Progress" with stops where the lights are brought up to show detail. Lots of background info.
Group disperses after.

Thank you @Raya We've got this tour scheduled in a few weeks, I haven't seen too many reviews, one said they went on Pirates, but Pirates will be down when we're there! This sounds perfect for us!

We just did this in April 2015 and instead of IASW we rode Winnie the Pooh.

Tour was awesome. I haven't done Keys to the Kingdom so I am not able to offer a comparison but I will say the you get a nice and really cool insiders knowledge for Haunted Mansion and Carousel of Progress.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in doing something special at Magic Kingdom and for Haunted Mansion fans in particular.

DD, 17 didn't want to do KTTK tour, because she was afraid it would be "too much' with it being summer, I felt we needed something besides lines for rides - so I booked this for us as a surprise. I know KTTK tour includes a lunch at Columbia Harbor House, and Marceline does not have a lunch, so I scheduled an ADR for BOG at 1! I think we'll love it!

DD, 17 didn't want to do KTTK tour, because she was afraid it would be "too much' with it being summer, I felt we needed something besides lines for rides - so I booked this for us as a surprise. I know KTTK tour includes a lunch at Columbia Harbor House, and Marceline does not have a lunch, so I scheduled an ADR for BOG at 1! I think we'll love it!

We were done just after 11 (8:00 tour) and we ended up with a walk-up lunch at The Plaza. You will love the tour, it was absolutely fantastic.

Thank you! It sounds like the rides are mostly different than what we did on the KTTK tour, so we will probably learn enough different things that it will be worthwhile. I think I'll go ahead and schedule it as soon as I can get DH to decide what day will work for him.

That's what messed up my plans, even though I was on the phone 180 days before, Saturday was the only day I could work the tour in - and I can't remember if it was because Saturdays was the only day for the tour, or if it was because I had tours set up for a couple other days during our stay! But, I worked around it, and I'm looking forward to it!
