Hi,

Does anyone know how much walking there is on this tour? I know it's 3 hours long. Is it alot of walking or more like some walking with alot of standing around listening to the guide? Are there any places to sit and rest? Thanks for any info!

When we did it October 2014 we walked down Main Street and stopped in front of the hub .. the whole time the guide was talking ... stood there for a good 15 - 20 minutes while she talked about Walt's childhood. From there we walked over to Liberty Square where we spent another bit of time listening ... headed over to HM and went thru the entire line with her explaining everything .. first chance we got to sit down was on the actual ride --- after that we continued on to Fantasyland for a pit-stop at rupuznel's bathroom (poor kid that's what SHE got for a castle :P ) We stopped at Winnie's ride for a quick ride through. More walking thru to Tomorrowland where we ended up in COP and did the ride.

Now i imagine there are some slight variations depending on the guide, but for our tour there were only the 3 rides and the wall outside the bathroom break when we got to sit down. SO long story short, for our tour we were on our feet for most of the time, BUT it was, without a doubt, the BEST tour we've ever been on, learned so much about Walt's life and the various rides (to say nothing of the backstage tour of HM!!!)

I'm going to take the tour next month.

The walking is from the front of the park to Haunted Mansion to Winnie the Pooh to Carousel of Progress.

Donald above describes quite well. Walk a bit, stop for a bit, repeat. It is a great tour, as they all are.

If you do go, don't forget the discounts....AP, DVC and Disney Visa, all 15%.

Thank you for the detailed report! :)

I did the tour in October and I didn't consider it to be too much walking, however I am young and fit. It was honestly the highlight of the trip for me, though I think that depends on the guide. We had Jordan and he was amazing!

We took the tour this past Dec, we did HM and COP, but no Winnie the Pooh Ride. There was a lot of walking and standing, with rest stops only on the rides. We did love the tour, though Keys to the Kingdom was our favorite!

Curious about your comment about no links to reviews here? I've definitely seen reviews from various places for such things as Minnie's holiday dine chacacter meal, or reviews on MNSSHP or MVMCP, for example.

It's a neat tour! I would say it's more standing around than actual walking around, but you do wander between Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.
