Marathon Weekend 2026 Group Costumes

At the urging of @The Expert, I'm starting the thread early.

Here are the themes:

5k - Pluto/space
10k - Chip & Dale/mystery
Half - Donald & Daisy/love
Full - Mickey & Minnie/fantasy
Goofy - comedy
Dopey - fairy tale

I'm proposing a Star Wars theme for a 5k group costume. Who is with me?

(I'm also already planning Clarabelle for the full, so maybe classic Disney characters if people want to join? Would fit with people doing Dopey/Goofy, too.)

Nooooooo! I would love this but NOT doing Dopey this year (if I keep saying it, it will be true right?) Even though this just makes me want to do it more.

I’d be in for a group costume for half and/ or full.

My husband just unexpectedly announced (despite his daily statements otherwise) that he thinks we should the Dopey challenge again. It would be great if we could join you guys this year!

There is ZERO reason we can't duplicate any of these for other weekends when they make sense!

Also, for anyone else thinking about it, there is no pressure to join for any or every race. This past year we only did group things for two of the races, and not everyone who did one did the other. You do what you're comfortable with. (And it's mostly for the pre-race meetup and group photo -- those who run together do so in smaller groups.)
