I do believe that everyone who has wanted to participate in the FE List has been added to my spreadsheet. How do you feel about having the link to the list posted here? I have it stored on Google Drive (used to be Google Docs) and would post the link if no one had an issue with that.

The other option would be for me to PM each of you with the link individually so you can verify your information.

So far, we have 6 families participating or tentatively participating in the FE with a total of 21 people. I would like to set the cutoff no later than the end of the month to let everyone get an idea of how many FE gifts they will need.

Any comments, questions, suggestions?

I've got a room update though - we are now in room #12518 - bit the bullet and upgraded. Very excited!

WOW - I saw a few videos of the deck on that cruise, and it didn't look much like fun at times - hope you all were safe and glad to know you made it back safely!

We have moved our dates to a summer sailing instead. The videos of our cruise were accurate, and it was like that the ENTIRE 3 days. Was not a lot of fun, and most of the outdoor areas were closed for the duration of the cruise. Hoping they have learned not to head directly into a hurricane again! The good thing is we learned that my son has good sealegs like his Mommy and managed not to get seasick. Can't say the same for many others on that cruise.

Hope y'all have fun! I'm really surprised the FE is so small for this sailing since it is during Spring Break. We had about 30 families participating on our Hurricane cruise.

Sorry you had such a lousy time - glad we both have good sea legs, so I am not going to worry too much!

Also sad you won't be joining us, but I can understand why you would not like to do that!

That's a concierge cabin isn't it? If you've not done it before, it's AWESOME! Won't be doing this time though - maybe not for a while, either...

OK, let's see if I can answer all of your questions -
Yes, it's acceptable to purchase gifts - they can be from wherever and don't HAVE to be Disney themed, but those seem to be popular. I've given sewing kits, pirate stuffed bears, small drawstring bags, etc, etc.

Gifts are up to the discretion of the giver. Some give one cabin gift for everyone, some do one gift for everyone in the cabin. Generally it's one gift per cruise. However, I do also know of some people that have done one gift/cabin/day too......In other words it's totally and completely up to you and what you feel comfortable with doing. It's the spirit of giving that's important!

We do not expect gifts for whole family, i'll plan on one fe for his door. The little man gets excited over pencils & the littlest things. So his day will be made for sure by anything.

PS - I don't mean to be a "hard nose" about this, but if I do not hear from you by February 15, you will be removed from the list. That is two weeks from now and should give you plenty of time to respond. The only reason I am doing this is because it's happened to me - some don't respond, you make their gifts, and then they drop out last minute! So PLEASE be respectful of your fellow DIS'ers and give them the courtesy of a response! Thank you very much....
