Maple syrup sold in Canada @ Epcot....

Is there a specific name and can I order it online or by phone?

I, personally, have not tried it. But a friend and fellow foodie will not stop raving about it, so I would love to surprise her with a bottle. Thank you! I did a search for "maple syrup" and also "syrup canada" but could not find anything.

I tried ordering the syrup once between trips. It was a disaster. It took literally months to get it and I had to call regularly to see what the problem was. It took about 5 months. When the package finally arrived, it was 6 bottles of the wrong kind of syrup. Since then, we simply buy several bottles while there and have them shipped home. That seems to work fine.

Since they sell more than one grade of syrup, you'd have to know which kind your friend likes. We like the Grade B amber.

I'd also bet that there are plenty of online sources that won't cost as much but will get you a good quality maple syrup. Much of New England and parts of Canada are lousy with real maple syrup - I'm in upstate NY and can get the real quality stuff at a normal grocery store. Try a google search instead of limiting yourself to Disney unless there is some other reason to do so.

lyn-What a bummer that it was such an ordeal! That is a good point about the different grades and colors...I did not really think about that. I will try to quiz her, but she may not remember.

pez-Thanks for the tip. Honestly, I just wanted to get her something from "Disney." You know how the fact that you know it came from Disney makes things taste better? Well...at least it does for me! My friend knows I am a Disney freak, so I wanted to get it from there for her.

I *think* they might carry the same brand at Cost Plus World Market, if you have those in your area. I can't remember the brand name either, but I know we got some at Cost Plus that was really good.
