Map that shows the walking paths between resorts & parks & how long it takes?

I've seen a transportation map before that shows how to get between resorts but was wondering if there was one that estimated walking distance / time, on the paths between resorts.

I have not previously seen one, but it would be easy enough to do using something like Google Earth, etc. Look forward to seeing what you develop for us all.

I imagine such a thing doesn't exist because there really isn't a good way (or allowable way) to walk between many resorts and/or parks. For instance, you cannot walk from AKL to AK; there aren't paths/sidewalks to do so and pedestrians are not allowed on roadways.

The exceptions I can think of are: walking from CR to MK, from Poly/GF to TTC, from EP loop resorts to each other/EP/DHS, from POR to POFQ, from OKW to SSR, from SSR to DTD. To see those paths, Google any one of them and "jogging map" - where walking/running is permitted, jogging maps exist.

There is no path to walk between most resorts - lots of open road with no shoulders. The exceptions are those tied together in some way (like Epcot resorts, or the All Stars). The only parks that you can walk to from one another are Epcot and DHS.

You can walk from the TTC to the polynesian resort.

And from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom which took us about 8 minutes.

You can walk from Wilderness Lodge to Ft. Wilderness too but that looks like it takes awhile.

If you google Mousesteps I think it's called, they have done walking tours of things around Disney World.

Why have they never added a bridge so you can walk from GF to MK?

I believe that there was a barge or something that had to pass through there that was too tall.

a) It would actually take 2 bridges. There are 2 waterways to cross (one small creek and one canal) between GF and MK.
b) The canal closest to MK is where the EWP floats hide during the day. It would be difficult to keep this hidden if a pedestrian bridge were there, and the bridge would have to be a drawbridge or quite high for the EWP floats to be able to clear each night.

For all I know, it may have been intended at one time for there to be a walking path all the way from TTC to MK, but I can't see it happening at this point.

Beach/Yacht Club, Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin make a loop of sorts to HS and EP.

The 3 All Star resorts.

Pop and AoA.

Contemporary to MK.

Grand Floridian to Polynesian to TTC.

Saratoga Springs to DTD. (And maybe Old Key West to DTD?)

Wilderness Lodge and Ft. Wilderness.

Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter.

That's all I know and they might be correct! LOL
