I haven't been on it, but I heard there is a dirt path between WL and the Fort that runs along the shore too. I plan on finding it when I'm down in May.

It exists, at one time there was some good fishing spots, they might be overgrown now. If you get a chance let us know.

From Google Earth pics, it looks like there would be some great fishing along the path. I'll check it out and get some pics when we are down. 2 months and 3 day!

It's a nice, quiet, scenic, and shaded path to WL. It's a fun way to go "next door" for breakfast or lunch.
