My heart breaks for this little boy. It's captured on video, and you can see and hear him BEG not to go with his father.

I'm sorry, but those with the ability to speak and read spanish in the Texas area are a dime a dozen. There is NO WAY you can tell me that there WAS NO ONE in the court room who couldn't read that document. Someone didn't do their job!!

I live all the way up in Indiana and we have to have someone fluent in both reading and speaking spanish at the court house at all times, to assist with any language issue that may arise. I even believe, that they now have someone fluent in Burmeses, as we have a growing community from Burma.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing. And what law enforcement officer would not question the fact that the kid that he's trying to coax off the bus is hysterical, and adamantly saying he does not want to go with the father because "he beats me". Hopefully many heads will roll for this one.

I just hope this poor kid is OK, and that they find him soon.

It is heartbreaking. I feel so bad for that boy. How could they release him to his father? Why wouldn't the authorities hold the boy until they could find someone that could read it? I hope nothing happens to that boy. But I'm sure the father is mad that he pleaded not to go.

How can there not be someone there to read the document?? And what kind of court officer doesn't read a document that is presented? Horrible outcome for this child do to people not doing their job.
