Today its Pauls Birthday, and we had an ADR for 10.30am at Chef Mickeys. We got up around 9am and packed the bags and put them in the car while the girls went off to the arcade.
Just after 10am, we noticed that Chef Mickeys was quite quiet, so we checked in, and I told the CM that it was Pauls birthday ~ much to his disgust (mind you, how he has the nerve to complain about getting him some extra attention after his YMCA performance is beyond me).
Within 5 minutes we were shown to our table and Paul was presented with a birthday table mat signed by all the characters.
We saw Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie and Mickey and Pluto flitted by for a very quick photo. When the Celebrate with Mickey Mouse song came on, our server gave Paul a Birthday Muffin covered in sprinkles, with a candle in it.
I usually thoroughly enjoy going to Chef Mickeys, but for some reason we felt quite rushed this time. The food was as nice as ever, but I think we were in and out in about ½ hour.
After taking some photos outside the Contemporary, we went back to the Pop Century for some final sunbathing, though I was doing washing at the same time (its great how those launderettes are next to the pool).
When most of the packing was done we went to MGM Studios. We did really well as the crowds were very light. We rode Tower of Terror twice, watched Indiana Jones and Paul and Becky rode Star Tours while Kerry & me got some cookies and I had a Cutie Mickey tattoo put on my shoulder.
We also ran into Kelly and her family (from the cruise) and we sat chatting for a while about how much we have enjoyed our time aboard the Disney Wonder.
Then it was time to do some serious shopping. First we went to DownTown Disney where I bought all my gifts for all the exchanges that we may be doing on the DIS this year (hopefully Secret Bunny, Summer, Halloween, Christmas decoration and Secret Santa exchanges).
We then went to Wal-Mart to get some photos developed for the girls, then Super Target and finally Premium Outlets where I got some prizes for the February quiz Im running.
We got back to the Pop around 10.30pm and I finally got into bed around 11.30pm after I finished all the packing.
