Sunday 4th January 09 (High 79F)
We had a bit of a lie in this morning, and we were out of the room by 8.30am. We called at Kellys room to say goodbye (as they were getting on the Disney Wonder this morning), and Kelly still wasnt sure if her hubby was well enough to go on the Cruise. We left our mobile number with her to see if we had time to meet up once they got off the ship on Thursday and we set off for SeaWorld
It was a lovely day, and our mission today was to ride Kraken. We were all rather nervous about riding Kraken for the first time, and thankfully the line was very short, so within no time we were on it. Well, we all loved it, and once we got off, we got straight back on again
We had a lovely day. After Kraken, we stopped at a bakery and had breakfast of fruit, pastries and cakes. We then went off to see the Shamu Believe show (which was very nice, though a bit corny for me), and we visited the Penguin and Shark Encounters and went to see the Clyde & Seamore Take Pirate Island show. As usual, the mime artist at the beginning was hilarious, but this show has been going for years, so they could really do with changing it
We left SeaWorld around 2.30pm (as it was getting very hot), and we went to Ponderosa for a late lunch
After chilling back at the room/pool for a couple of hours, Paul & I left for the Magic Kingdom for evening EMH (9pm-12am). We got there around 7.30pm just as SpectroMagic was heading up Main Street USA
It looked really busy, so we cut through the shops and headed to Tomorrowland. We picked up fastpasses for Buzz Lightyear, and went to see Stitchs Great Escape. We watched Wishes from the TTA (cool) and then we used our fastpasses for Buzz (where I was chuffed to score over 300,000 woohoo !!). We also went to see Mickeys PhilharMagic, rode Big Thunder Mountain (I love riding this in the dark) and Pirates of the Caribbean
The park was really quiet when we left around 10,30pm, and I was able to get in a great position in front of the castle to take a photo, just as my blooming camera ran out of battery (typical). Oh well, hopefully Ill be back again soon to take another pic
