Sunday 28th December ‘08

Again our original plans to be at the Disney Hollywood Studios for 7am EMH were scuppered as we decided to get there before 8am instead. First stop was Toy Story Mania, so while the others rode it, I went to get fastpasses for RockNRollerCoaster. I only had to wait 20 minutes or so for them to come out, so I had a wander around the shops

Once everyone came off the ride, we went to Starring Rolls for cakes and danishes. The girls went to have a look around the shops and we arranged to meet them at 9.30am outside the Lights, Motors, Action show after we rode Tower of Terror. The drops were really good, and we experienced three different drop sequences this trip. Tower of Terror is definitely one of our fave rides

We went to see the Stunt Show, which was as good as ever, and when we came off we dashed over to RnRc to use our fastpasses

It was starting to get really busy, so Paul & I left for a lie by the pool and the girls stayed a little longer

After a couple of hours, Paul & I had a wander around the Pop Century, then we all jumped in the car and went to the Super Target on the 192 and then we had a mooch around the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets where Paul bought some Sketchers

In the evening the girls decided to get the bus to DownTown Disney to see Bedtime Stories at the AMC, so Paul & I took the bus back to DHS. We watched the Beauty & the Beast show and walked around the lovely Osborne Christmas Lights

How do you feel about the rumour to close it and turn it into the Animation Inn & Suites?

Oooh, I hadn't heard that rumour Karen, I've just done a search. It would be good if they finished The Legendary Years side of the resort and made them into suites, but I hope they don't change The Classic Years side, as we love it there

'Fraid so Mandy, rumour being they will keep the Disney animation icons at Pop (eg Lady & the Tramp, Jungle Book) but ditch everything else and rebrand as animation. The unfinished side would be built again as 1, 2, 3, 4 bedroom suites.
