Mandymouse’s ‘Loving This FOTL Perk’ Report – Part 3

More a way of life than just a signature Tone:thumbsup2 Glad to see my spirit is alive and well in Margaritaville;) :lmao:

Matt I was picturing you both sat in the Cabana bar with a couple of hurricanes.:thumbsup2

Close, when at Margaritaville we are always at the Volcano bar, coz I do know where I'm a-gonna go when the Volcano blows!! Also, surely when in Margaritaville one has Margaritas? Otherwise it'd be called Jimmy Buffett's Hurricaneville:confused3 :confused3

Count down's well and truly on, we'll be ploughing our way through that Margarita list in a few weeks, I reckon between the two of us we can go through the whole Margarita menu in one night - a person's got to have ambition and a goal in life after all:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Have loved reading all about your trip Mandy. I don't think I would like to end my trip without visiting Disney again either though.

Excellent Mandy-i have thouroughly enjoyed your report.Love the photo's.Keep us updated about the ticket=that is terrible.x.

Thanks again everyone for taking the time to read my report. I think I'll have to make a start on the pre-trip report for our next holiday soon ;) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

As for the Bahama Mama, your more than welcome.

Dead jealous now though about you Xmas trip as we don't have a ticker and I'm not sure when the next trip is likely to be.

Cheers Tone, and great pics too

C'mon Tony, you always have to have the next holiday in the planning, that's half the fun :thumbsup2 I hope you and Theresa have a new countdown soon

Great report Mandy have enjoyed reading them this morning.

I liked the atmosphere in Margaritaville, it was very laid back, so I could imagine you enjoying a relaxing time in there Matt ::yes::

Sorry but I'm not keen on Margaritas, so I think it should be renamed BahamaMamaVille ;)

I'll suggest it to Gerry the barman when we're there in a few weeks, but don't get your hopes up!

I wouldn't be too surprised if there's a BahamaMama-rita, they do have them in the biggest range you can imagine!

Great report! I think if we visited at a busier time of year we'd consider staying overnight at Universal, last September the parks were pretty dead! Hope ATD sort out the ticket issue for you soon.

Mandy, I have really enjoyed your trippies and all the pics too! Can't wait for your next trip! :)

Hi Mandy,

Fantastic reports .... another Jimmy Buffet classic would have to be ... ! "wastin away again in Margarietaville!"

We've done the HRH twice now, once during HHN which was absolutely horrendous and this year on Club which made amends for all the bad things that happened during 2007 .... my only annoyance is the "tip" they automatically add to the bill at the Beach Club on everything. Happy to have the tip added for the guys who deliver the drinks and food to your sunbed ... but standing at the bar for 15 minutes waiting for 2 x M&M icecreams for 17 dollars was no joke, and that included their tip! .... still only gripe everything else was great, but definately preferred the Portofino.

Can't believe you're back at Christmas! Thanks again for sharing.

Sharon

A great report and fab photos especially the ones of Kerry and Becky with Jaws! :thumbsup2

We visited Universal for the first time last trip and managed to ride all we wanted with minimal queues by getting there early, it helps that we're wusses and don't do upside coasters ~ the Mummy is as scary as it gets for us!! :rotfl2:

However anything we wanted to repeat as the day went on meant a long queue so next time we do Universal we'll stay in one of their hotels for a night too. I'm keeping everything crossed that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (or whatever it's called) will preview for Christmas 2009.

ETA: Forgot to say good luck with getting it sorted about that ticket.

Enjoyed the reports very much, Mandy.

We're hoping to stay 3 nights on-site at Universal next May, so it was interesting to get your views.

Margaritaville will definitely be on the agenda.

Great report Mandy, it sounds like you all had a lovely trip. I hope you get the ticket problems rectified soon:thumbsup2

I've enjoyed re-living your travels with you, Mand. Lovely to see you all enjoying your "Boat Drinks" at Margaritaville! :thumbsup2

Thanks for your great trip report. We felt the same way about the Hard Rock Hotel. Nice but could be anywhere and after leaving Disney (Saratoga Springs) really missed a balcony especially as the hotel is not cheap.

It really is not long until your next trip and you have one booked next summer too. sooooo jealous, but am happy to enjoy yours through your reports.

Once again thank you.

Awww, I wish I hadn't raved so much about the HRH so much now :sad2: :sad2: Still it sounds like you had a nice time anyway and will finish at Disney next time ;)

As always, I have just loved your trippies.
