Man wrecks his million dollar Ferrari on California road..

Poor Enzo, not many of them made in the first place and to see one of them like that is terrible. Lucky the moron wasn't hurt!

"...Some German guy named Dietrich I just met was driving. I let him drive my $1M+ car even though I didn't know him very well..."

Riiiiiiiight... :thumbsup2

He would not identify himself to the reporter, and said, "I work for the Department of Homeland Security," in an Eastern European accent.
Odd...

It's a crying shame about the car. What a nutcase. :crazy2:

I think every man in the industialized world just shed a tear.

:lmao: You're probably right. I just wish I had a Million to spend on a car.

I wouldn't have believed a car could be worth a million dollars, until I saw this last Barrett-Jackson auction. I wondered if he insured it.

The new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is pushing $1.5m For those kinds of Benjamins you get quad turbos and 1001hp. Too bad they're pretty much all spoken for.

what a twit--they could have killed someone (other than their sorry selves-)

Jean

I bet the insurance company doesn't want to pay for the damage when they find out the owner can't identify the driver of the car!

In a two-seat car, neither person at the scene was driving. :confused3 Was one guy sitting in the other's lap?

All I can think of is the Forrest Gump line: stupid is as stupid does.

1001 hp?!

The first link to themalibu times, the story says two men were at the scene and neither would admit to driving the car.
The second two links state that there was only one man at the scene who claims he was not the driver, the driver fled the scene.
Which story is right? :confused3

The first article says they can't prove who was driving although the owner had blood on his mouth and there was blood on the driver airbag. Hello, don't these people watch CSI, do DNA testing.

One of only 400 cars ever made and this tool had to go and wreck it beyond repair. Glad to know that he has enough money for a gated house in Bel-Air and this $1 million car. He is damn lucky no one got killed including him and his passenger.

Well of course he says he wasn't driving! He was doing over 100mph DRUNK! Glad he didn't kill anyone, hope he ends up in jail!
