man arrested for being naked in his own kitchen

was he charged with hiding a concealed weapon :rolleyes1

No, but they charged him with being "armed and dangerous".;)

I wonder what they would have charged him with if he was cooking "naked buffalo wings'?

r u serious. In his own home at 5:30 in the morning when most people are probably just waking up. He probably was not expecting someone to tresspass on his property and then peek in his windows. If anyone should be charged is that woman.

I agree- guess she ought to stay on her own property and stop looking in people's windows. It's not like he was standing in his picture window at noon waving to passing cars.

That's stupid. It's his own private house, he should be able to do whatever he wants in there. It's nobody elses buisness what goes on in someone elses house. Poor guy.:sad2:

Ok, I know some people who really NEED their morning coffee, maybe this guy is one of them?! He NEEDS his coffee to put one leg in at a time! ;) Seriously, I can't believe a judge is taking this seriously.

That is rediculous! What is that lady doing anyways staring in someone's home?

That's what gets me about this story.

The woman is trespassing on his property, looking in his windows, and then presses charges?

Sounds like one of those self-righteous people that think the world has to conform to their extremely narrow-minded view points.

If you don't want your son exposed to naked people getting a cup of coffee in their own kitchen, don't cut through their yards while looking in their windows.

:thumbsup2
The world has gone CRAZY imho!!!
Is there NO safe haven anymore, no SPAce anymore, GEEZE, stop SPYING! Hope he charges HER with trespass............:confused3

I walk around naked all the time and I don't even have drapes on all my windows. I find it silly to think it would be a crime. I don't go waving at children peering out of my window of course but if I am doing something and someone wants to look in the window they can stare or look away, it's up to them.

There is a difference between sexuality and nudity and a rational human being should be able to know the difference. Most of Europe isn't so held up on nudity as we are here. It is the human body, I don't see why so many people are ashamed of it.

Here's an update. I don't think it's as cut and dried as the earlier article made it seem. Yes, we have a right to be naked in our homes, but a guy being naked who lives near a school bus stop at 8:30 when the kids are getting picked up? Might be a good idea to close the blinds in the future.

So give him a warning, don't throw him in jail with a fine. I think the difference is intent.

Funny thing is if SHE was naked and he saw her, he'd probably be called a peeping tom.

Why doesn't this surprise me?

Police wouldn't release the incident report or the name of the mother who filed the complaint. FOX 5 has learned she is a respected member of the community, and just happens to be the wife of a Fairfax County Police officer.

And it's interesting how the time changed from 5:30 am to 8:30 am....

Regardless of where he lives he should be free to do in his home what he wants provided it is legal. I could see if he was standing in the window staring at the bus stop while doing jumping jacks but it is just as easy to not look into people's windows as it is to look in them.

He should close the blinds of course but he should have to.
