We're back to California cool! Probably won't get over 82 degrees here. (we're inland from San Francisco) We had some nasty warm & HUMID weeks though! (we don't DO humid here!)

Hi Jeff in BigD--my DD went to Six Flags today and I have been worried about them all day. Thankfully it is time now to go pick her up and I didn't receive any phone calls telling me she passed out. Gotta love August in Texas

Believe it or not, today is te first day I have felt really hot all year.
I am fine until above 100.

We're somewhere in the 80's in NC, and I am still miserable! I don't think I'll be looking to move to Texas anytime soon.

It was suppose to be 105 here in Central Texas here today...........without the heat index! But, I think this summer has been cooler than usual.

It was very hot in England yesterday high of 96, the hottest in 13 years. I love the heat but with no airconditioning in houses it is getting unbearable at times, so off out in the car or to large shops and supermarkets that do have aircon!! Looks like this heat is set to continue well into next week and possibly more records being broken as in London yesterday highest ever recorded temperature ofaround 94!!

It's in the 80s here in MA but it is so humid it is unbearable. I saw on the news last night London hit it's alltime hottest day yesterday. I wonder if Sadam is jinxing us. LOL
