Mamma Mia!

Last night I took my daughters to see Mamma Mia! and boy was it awesome! We don't get to see a lot of shows here in Toledo--there are a few each year, we subscribed for a couple of years but for every good show there was one I didn't care for. So this year we just bought individual tickets for this one and I am very happy we did! If you have a chance to see this one, go for it!
Now next year "The Producers" and "Aida" are both coming--I think I'll take the girls to "Aida" and go to "THe PRoducers" with my theatre friends--think it's a little too adult for my girls yet.

We saw it last August in Las Vegas and thought it was great! I was never a huge Abba fan, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the music.

When I left the theater, I was VERY disturbed at the content of the Producers. There were just too many things that were waaaayyyyyyy wrong with that show....and BTW, I am not the most PC person in the world and it was really WRONG!

Aidia on the other hand was absolutley wonderful. One of my favorite shows...right up there with Mamma Mia, Hairspray and Movin Out!!! I am sure your girls will enjoy it. It starts out a bit slow...but boy does it get better!!!!!!

We took our teens (DS18 and DD15) to Mamma Mia! in St. Louis in late December. We absolutely loved it!!! We had been to AZ for the holidays then back home to MO. The kids - by far- enjoyed the play much better. DD and I are still listening to the soundtrack. Of course, my kids love the fact that ABBA are from Sweden, and we are part Swedish. It's a lot of fun. I would love to see it again.

We saw it in early December, and I got the CD of the soundtrack of the show for DD Jennifer for Christmas.

Now she goes around the house singing, "Dancing Queen" . . .
