Just got back, absolute class, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a film so much, I could have come out and gone straight back in to watch again. Meryl Streep was brilliant, Julie Walters was hysterical, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. It made me want to    and:cool1: I want to go again. Anyone who is going, please be sure to stay throughout the closing credits, it is worth it .... Oh and Colin Firth was rather easy on the eye to ;)

I think I may be making a trip to watch this :thumbsup2 , sounds like fun :goodvibes

I really want to see this :goodvibes

its brilliant Karen, I can't stop singing, I am doing Ians head in, I have just performed Thank You For The Music for him LOL

LOL - I am out tonight to see this with the girlies :) Looking forward to it.

Unfortunately Mikki its not one of the stageshows I have seen, this is probably due to the fact that after seeing lots of shows I saw Joseph got hooked on it and then went to see it nine times, a very foolish thing to do, there are so many other shows I could have seen. In some ways I was glad as I had no idea of the story, and I wasn't able to make comparisons, if it doesn't live up to the stageshow it could be a disappointment to those who have seen it.

Kaylee, promise me that you will stay for the credits, so many people walked out today, and it really is worth staying :rotfl:

Glad you enjoyed it Jules. We went to see it on Thursday night, I agree total class.

I went to see it this afternoon with DH and DDs 10 and 14 and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Now we can't stop singing the songs! I agree that people should stay for the credits!! :thumbsup2 As for Pierce Brosnan :lovestruc :lovestruc

I really want to see this!! Me & DH saw the stageshow in 2001 - it was a wedding gift from my sister. I think I will have to arrange a puppy sitter!

I will be like you Jules - singing the songs for the next week! :rotfl:

I totally agree Jules. I think they got the casting spot on. Julie Walters is a legend. Pierce Brosnan was looking mighty fine. I can't remember laughing so much at the cinema.

Who thinks that Meryl, Julie & Christine should be our Eurovision entry for next year?;)

There were people who left at the beginning of the credits, I bet they wished they didn't. It was obvious something else was going to be shown as they hadn't put the lights up.

i wasnt sure if i wanted to see this, im an ABBA fan so would enjoy the music.
think you lot have persuaded me ;)

It was brilliant. Loved the end!!!

Brought the soundtrack today, singing along to it now :teeth:

Sounds great! Now my DD's back from Barbados, I'm hoping to see it with her this week... :thumbsup2
