I should have been forwarned when this was the only ADR I could get the day before (after the children showed such terror when faced with characters that we had to cancel Hollywood and Vine).

We arrived 10 minutes early and watched the hostesses turning people away or giving them adrs for several hours in the future. We cooled our heels in the lobby for about 20 minutes before being seated in a restaurant that was only about 1/3 filled! (And never got any more full, during the hour we were there.)

I asked the server why the hostesses were turning people away when the restaurant was nearly empty. He said he'd like to know the answer to that too, because he could use the money. Unfortunately, the guarenteed tips from the dining plan have gotten to him, because the service was mediocre at best, as was the food. Sorry, Mama. We won't be back.

Sorry you didn't enjoy your meal. It is usually one of our best of the trip. We were slightly disappointed in the food in September, but we were hot and overtired (we'd been up since 4 a.m. that morning for our flight to Florida). However, the service was great as always. Hopefully, it was just an off night as I've read some really good reviews of MM the last couple of days.

When did you go? Guaranteed tips ended in January 2008 so if your server was depending on them, he would be poor!!

We just went on Thursday Feb 12 and it was the best meal of our trip. It was lunchtime and Kat was our server. She was great. Drinks were refilled several times. The food was great too! The restaurant was not full at 12:10 when we arrived but was full by the time we were done.

It's sad when you can't count on a restaurant being consistent with service and food! You don't know if it is going to be a good day or a bad day. I'm sorry you had such a bad meal.

There is not much to choose from at DHS!
