Mama Melrose v. H&V

We will be going to MGM on our check out day (a Tuesday) and we will need to leave by 3 to pick up our bags at SSR and head back to the airport. I was wondering whether luch at either Mama Melrose or H&V would be ok. Me, DH and DD4, so we understand about the characters at H&V, but those are not her favorite and would not be the determining factor. We did not want an early breakfast as we plan to check out first - and don't want to have to rush that process (to avoid forgetting things.....). And, a bigger lunch sounded good because there will be no airplane food. Are either of these places worth it for lunch? (We may have DDP too, but I am still deciding whether to go that route).

I would skip both and go to 50's Prime Time...if that is not an option I would head back to Epcot or a resort to eat.

I would do Mama Melrose over H&V. H & V doesn't have good reviews and also it's a buffet. It's nice to get a break from the crowds and lines and enjoy table service. Check out the menus at www.allearsnet.com for help to choose. Enjoy!

Thanks. I have seen mixed reviews on both these places so was not sure. I may check out the 50s Prime Time menu also. Does anyone know how much time we might plan to spend at our meal, as that will end up being important for the airport.
