We are signed up for the fantasmic package this June with the DDP, don't know if they include the app. but maybe this would work as a buffet where every thing is still included but not sure.

Thanks-I just wanted to make sure we could use DDP to get the Fantasmic package. We're not all that concerned with getting the appetizer.

We're signed up for this in February - they lady I made the ADR with knew we were on the DDP and would be using a credit, so I hope so!

How does the fantasmic package include an appetizer? I remember it just being the normal menu with appetizer and desert options but not necessarily everything included in a 3 course meal. Is it different now?

When you get the Fantasmic package they are supposed to give you a smaller menu from which you choose an appetizer (one of the flatbread pizzas), your main course, and a dessert...I'm not so sure they always do this though

We have been doing the Mama Fantasmic package for 3 years, the past 2 years they did do this, but starting last year the package now orders from the same menu, so this year if you book it I wouldn't think an appetizer would be included with the new dining plan at all.

When we booked for our Fantasmic Package for this April we were told that if we had the dining plan we would not be limited to the fewer choices on the smaller menu.

In 2007, all Guests got and ordered from the same menu. It's entirely possible that the 2008 DDP/F!DP Guests will instead get menus that reflect the changes to the DDP... or not. We won't know for sure until somebody experiences and posts it.

We have the Fantasmic Package in April. I had to change my reservation though as we were just dining at Mama's and then when I changed to the Fanatsmic Package I had to switch from 6 pm to 4pm. It's earlier than I would have liked but we will manage.

Would someone mind telling a newbie what this package inlcudes? I am guessing that you are getting more than just a meal?? thanks for your help.

Basically, you get seats "reserved" at the Fantasmic show-they're not specific seats, just a section which is kept empty for the Fantasmic package diners. It allows you to enjoy dinner and then walk over to the show (so you don't have to wait in that crazy long line!!!) You can get the Fantasmic dinner package at Hollywood and Vine, Mama Melrose, and Hollywood Brown Derby. If I remember correctly it's ~$40 a person at Mama Melrose and you have to put a $10 dollar deposit down when you make your ADR's.

We didn't get the package when we went down in Aug-I guess that's why I didn't know about the change to the regular menu (the last time we got it was May of 06)-thanks everyone for you're input and info!!!
