Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package on DxDDP

I have this booked as one of my credits but we aren't 100 percent sure we will want to watch Fantasmic or not. With having the DxDDP if we book the Fantasmic Package are we losing out on anything in case we do want to watch the show. I don't really want to be on a prefix meal or anything if thats what happens.

The F! pkg at MM no longer includes the app. I haven't seen any reports on whether those on the DxDDP still get an app or not. Those paying OOP or with regular DDP do not get the app, but dining plan users do get an alcoholic drink.

I know when we had the DxDDP and also had the F package we were not able to get a dessert choice. We still had to get the one on the package. I am not sure if anything has changes so folks could add their appetizer, but it would be a shame if that was not allowed.

I forgot about that twist. The "dessert platter" for F! packages has been the norm for several years, and I forget newbiews to F! pkg there may not know that they don't get to choose a dessert from the menu.

We were okay with that aspect, but we did ask because we prefer off the menu. I would not give up both appetizer and dessert choice though.

Thank you both for that information. I am thinking about just giving up the Fantasmic portion then since in December we decided to leave in the middle of it due to the bench sitting and we have seen the show many times and prefer the Disneyland one much more.
